The built-in speakers are fine for casual viewing, but for richer audio, you might want to pair it with external speakers or a soundbar. Additionally, the SMARTCAST INTERFACE can feel a bit sluggish at times, especially when navigating between apps or streaming services.

The absence of Bluetooth connectivity is another downside. Personally, I like using wireless headphones when others are in the room, and that option isn’t available here. Lastly, the 32-inch size, while perfect for smaller spaces, may not be ideal for larger rooms or those seeking a more cinematic experience.

That said, the stand feels a bit flimsy. It does the job, but if you have kids or pets running around, wall mounting might be the safer option.

When comparing this TV to SAMSUNG’S TU7000 SERIES or the TCL ROKU TV, a few differences stand out. The TU7000 offers slightly more robust smart features and a better app ecosystem, but it’s also pricier. On the other hand, TCL’S ROKU TV has a more intuitive interface and better sound quality out of the box. However, the VIZIO D-SERIES holds its ground with its APPLE AIRPLAY SUPPORT and BUILT-IN FREE CHANNELS, which neither competitor offers at this level.

Where the VIZIO shines is in its ENERGY EFFICIENCY and its FULL ARRAY LED BACKLIGHTING, which some competitors in this size and price range lack. That said, if you prioritize Bluetooth or a faster interface, you might lean toward one of the alternatives.

Price Performance

Speaking of PRICE PERFORMANCE, this TV delivers excellent value for its features. Plus, the FULL HD RESOLUTION and UNIFORM BACKLIGHTING alone make it a worthy investment for smaller spaces or as a secondary TV.
